Reports
Reports answers three different questions about the parish’s homebound visits, including Communion brought to people who cannot come to church. Pick the tab that matches the question. Church Admin and Clergy can open them. The lists are for the working parish. Changing a row is done on the parishioner, the user, or in the mobile app, not by editing the report.
Assignments
Use this when you need to know who is responsible for whom right now. Each row is a parishioner, the volunteer on that assignment, the status, and the schedule. A schedule is the day and time on the assignment. Status is the stored state, such as Accepted or Completed. Use this tab before you invite more volunteers for someone who already has a visitor, and before you tell a family that nobody is assigned.
Visits
Use this when you need a record of visits that already happened. Set From and To, then Apply. Each row is the date, the parishioner, the visitor, and the notes from that visit. The range is inclusive of the dates you pick. A wide range is the right choice for a monthly report to the pastor. A single week is the right choice when you are checking that last Sunday’s list was logged. People with no completed visit in the range are absent from this tab. They may still appear under Assignments or Unassigned.
Unassigned
Use this when you need to know who is still waiting for a volunteer. The list is parishioners with no current assignment: name, phone, city, and preferred visits. Preferred times come from the parishioner record. If the preferred times are blank, volunteers will not be matched to them when they are added. Fill those times, and make sure the address has a map point, before you expect the notices in Church settings to reach a volunteer.
Someone on this list may already have been offered to matching volunteers. Unassigned means nobody has taken the visit yet. It does not mean no notice was sent. If they have been waiting past the second notification delay and only a few volunteers match their time and distance, the next step is to invite another volunteer who can make that time, or to assign someone directly.
