Churches

Churches is the System Admin list of parishes. Church Admins and Clergy do not see this page. Their site opens on their own parish. Choose a working church in the sidebar before you open settings, users, or reports for that parish. Add church starts a parish. Edit opens one that already exists. Save writes the name, address, license, and active flag.

Licensed

Leave Licensed checked for a parish that should have as many users as it needs. Clear it for a parish that should stop at 5 users. Parishioners are not limited either way. The user count on the church list is how many accounts that parish already has, shown against the limit when the parish is unlicensed. Changing Licensed does not delete users who are already over a new cap. It blocks new invitations once the cap applies.

Active

On an existing parish, clear Active when that parish should leave the working list. An inactive parish is not a choice for day-to-day ministry. Add and edit still require a name. The address field can fill city, state, and ZIP from a suggested street address. Those fields are the parish’s own location. They are separate from a homebound person’s address.

Welcome email

Send welcome on the list, or Send welcome email on the parish, emails the active Church Admins of that parish. The page asks you to confirm before it sends, then reports how many messages went out.

Settings

Settings on a row opens Church settings for the working church selected in the sidebar. Select that parish in the sidebar first when you want its settings.
